Description
I love JappMe's Ivy theme. I think it fits the game better than any other UI out there, including the one made by Turbine. I didn't like having four rows of docked quickslot bars, though; it just felt too cluttered to me. I also didn't like undocking the bars and then having them placed in not-so-convenient places around the screen. So, when JappMe recently updated Ivy, I figured I'd mod it to accommodate more bars horizontally.

Credits
All credit here should go to JappMe for his excellent UI. This is nothing but a simple mod to his Mirkwood Ivy theme's main panel.

Permission
I couldn't find JappMe's email, so I PMed him to get his blessing to release this. I haven't heard back from him for several days, but since his site says "feel free to use and/or to change this UI with a little notice to the author," I'm assuming he won't mind this release.

Installation
Installation is essentially unchanged. You'll need to modify one line in the skindefinition.xml file based on your resolution. Instructions are included in the readme.txt file and at the top of skindefinition.xml.

Layout
The downside to this sort of mod is that docking no longer aligns the bars properly. The primary quickslot bar will be where it should, but additional bars will need to be undocked and manually aligned.

After doing this, I recommend using the /ui layout save <name> and /ui layout load <name> commands to save your layout and carry it across multiple characters.

Notes
This mod hasn't been extensively tested. If you find any problems, like bits of the panel being out-of-place, let me know and I'll try and get it fixed.

Updates
1.1 Incorporated JappMe's latest changes: larger dressing room and mail.

JappMe, thanks. And thanks again for a great UI.

KnightOps, I haven't looked at it yet, but I don't see why that wouldn't be possible. I'll look into it in the next day or so. It should be just a matter of pasting my panel code over JappMe's.

Phinney, when you load the theme by default, only the first 12 boxes actually have any hotbar functionality. The latter 12 are just an art asset that's there so that when you drag a hotbar into the correct position, it looks just like the first 12.

I'd love to change that and make it work by default, I really would, but to be completely blunt, LotRO's UI is a giant pile of outdated junk. All we can really do is modify existing art assets and move things around, within some limits. Unless Turbine makes a major change to how the UI works - which is unlikely - this is as good as it's going to get.

To position the panel properly, you need to do this:

1) Open the options panel (ctrl-o)
2) Go to the quickslots tab on the right
3) Uncheck "dock bar 1" and make sure "always show bar 1" and "make bar 1 horizontal" are checked.
4) Use ctrl-\ to unlock the UI
5) Drag the hotbar into the correct position over the last 12 boxes.
6) If you want the other two bars on top, you need to position them the same way.

Anything I put in the last twelve boxes is discarded into nothingness. Are those last twelve just place-holders to help superimpose one of the original bars over? If so, I can still see bits of the place-mark boxes under the bar boxes after put into position, which doesn't seem right; I'm missing something. Thanks!

Great work both you and Japp.

Only question though, is it possible to get this to work with Japp's current changes?
