Everything works great on normal 32-bit client.

Changing to 64-bit breaks the textures (gray lines)

Any ideas?

Hello, I've tested the 64 bits client and didn't notice any issue with the skins.

The textures of the objects and environment are not a part of the skins which are only able to deal with the user interface.

I think you have an issue with your graphic card driver or graphic card temperature, or graphic memory issue.

I've tested on 2 machines, both before and after graphics driver updates. One has gtx 1050ti, other has gtx 1060.

I'm learning towards "its not a graphics card issue."

Anyone else tested this?

Hi,

in case your issue still occurs when you're running the default Lotro UI, this will confirm it has no relation with the skins and then your issue should be submitted on the official lotro forums, on a topic dedicated to the 64 bits client.

64 bits client is currently on beta stage and unstable.

They don't spend much time and interest in skins as they don't realize the value it adds in final user's game's experience...

No, i have no problems with the default skin. I've been playing with the 64-bit client since it was released.

I can only get custom/downloaded skins to show up on 32-bit client, though.

I was wondering if one of the plugin/skin authors here could shed some light.

Could you link a screenshot of the issue? This could help.

Anyway, that's very strange. On the graphic side, skins only replace the default targa and jpeg picture files by custom pictures.

However, to gain a lot of disk space, most the targa files in the JRR skins are compressed contrary to the default files. Maybe this can be a clue to solve this issue.

Is your operating system able to open correctly the TGA files (outside Lotro I mean) ? For example can you browse and display the portraits in the folder :
...\Documents\The Lord of the Rings Online\ui\skins\JRR Skins collection\JRR CORE\vitals

On my computer (Intel 3570K cpu, Radeon RX580 gpu, 2560X1440 screen resolution, Windows10 64 bits operating system) skins run perfectly with the 64 bits client.

Hunh, nevermind. I hadn't tried it since the last update (24.1.2 i think) and everything works perfectly now, on both machines.
