Thanks for reporting that. I'm pretty sure I can fix it. I'll have a look at it tomorrow.

Can Sequence Bars be used for a Warden's Gambits? If so how? I also have an RK and would like to use it for him as well. I want to click on it 1x and it goes through the series till done.

I should point out I want to be able to 1 click and have it go through the entire sequence without having to click on each space.

Nope, sorry, that is not possible, due to limitations that Turbine intentionally put into the Lua API. Each click can only execute one skill.

Sure, Warden gambit builders are just like any other skill. You can drag them into the sequence in any order you desire. If you read a few messages down, I mentioned that I have created sequences for all of the gambits for my own use. I included a link to a file that you can import into your settings.

lately I have had this come up when I'm in combat and I unloaded Sequence bars to test it and it didn't appear.

[string "self, object = ,,,; if (not pbject:IsInComb,,,"]:1: attempt to call method 'BringToFront' (a nil value)

if this not from Sequence Bars than I have to keep searching.

That is an error from SequenceBars. Sorry. I will look into it.

Edit: If version 2.15 doesn't fix your problem, please send me your .plugindata file.

Thanks for the amazing job.
I would like to know if it is possible to add a "special (inactive) icon" for each sequence : For example, I need a sequence bar for switching to a certain weapon before using a certain skill. The problem is that with the current features of the sequence bar, the first icon I see is the weapon's. In order to make sure that I am using the good sequence bar, I need to read the caption, which is not very convenient if I intend to use a number of sequence bars (I would rather hide the captions). I would like to have the skill's icon apparent (but inactive) first instead of the weapon's, as follows :
1- Skill's icon (inactive)
2- Weapon's icon (active)
3- Skill's icon (active)
...
I am not sure if I make myself understood (english is not my mother tongue).

Question Custom bars gone

SequenceBars undoubtly the best LotRO-plugin I've ever installed. So many thanks for creating and sharing it with us, Thurallor!

Alas I encountered a problem when I started the game yesterday after having been transfered to another server (from Gilrain to Evernight). First of all SequenceBars was not loaded on startup although I'm positive I set the plugin-manager to load the plugin for the character I wanted to play.

When I loaded it manually all my custom bars where gone and I frankly have no idea about how to recover them. It really took me ages to configure the bars according to my needs and I seriously hope there is a solution to that problem.

Any ideas on what to do, folks?

Keenarsen, I understand your request, and I am thinking about a way to implement it. Meanwhile, there are a few existing features that might help:
  1. You could make the cursor a different color for each bar.
  2. You could make a text overlay indicating the name of the skill.
  3. You could set the width/height of the bar to 2, and set the cursor home position to 1, so you can see the first two slots in the sequence.
Athraive, there is a very simple solution for your problem:
  1. Unload the plugin (or exit the game).
  2. Find the following file on your hard drive:
    Documents\The Lord of the Rings Online\PluginData\<account name>\Gilrain\<character name>\SequenceBars.plugindata
  3. Make a copy of this file in the following location:
    Documents\The Lord of the Rings Online\PluginData\<account name>\Evernight\<character name>\SequenceBars.plugindata
It's unfortunate that Turbine made no provision for transferring the plugin settings when people transfer their characters from one server to another. A lot of people are going to be asking the same question.

Thx for the answer Thurallor, and for taking the time to think about a way to implement it. I am aware of the existing features and I agree that they help, but they are not optimal for me due to my UI. Nevertheless, your plugin is very useful and user friendly. Thx again

Keenarsen, in the new version (2.18) you can change the icon of the weapon slot to whatever you want (such as a skill icon). I hope that serves your purpose.

If not, you can create a Delay slot (with delay period = 0) and set the icon to your skill icon. That allows you to do exactly what you requested. The drawback is that your sequence will take 3 clicks instead of 2.

Hi,
Love this plugin, specially for my warden, but does'nt load since yesterday!
Fine with my Guard, don't work with the warden.

Error messages:
Sirannon/Big******/SequenceBars.plugindata:1: unexpected symbol
...gs
Online\Plugins\Thurallor\SequenceBars\Manager.lua: 56: Unable to parse file!

Same when I try to load manually.
I have tried to revert to rev 2.17, same errors
I have a french interface and langage, tried with all english, same...

Any clues or workaround?

Please send me your SequenceBars.plugindata file for the warden character. I'll try to discover the problem and correct it. If it is affecting you, it is probably affecting other users also, so it is my top priority.
