Dunharrow locations missing/defect
Hello,
first of all a very big Thank You for this marvellous plugin!
After installing the new version I bounced into a minor bug: When searching the route from Dunharrow, the plugin crashes.
Dijkstra.lua is missing the entries for both the Dunharrow camp site and milestone
NewNode("West Rohan: Dunharrow (70.3S, 71.4W) Camp");
NewEdge("West Rohan: Dunharrow (70.3S, 71.4W) Camp", "West Rohan: Underharrow (67.3S, 73.7W) Stable", 2);
NewNode("West Rohan: Dunharrow (70.3S, 71.5W) Milestone");
NewEdge("West Rohan: Dunharrow (70.3S, 71.5W) Milestone", "West Rohan: Underharrow (67.3S, 73.7W) Stable", 2);
TableData.lua is missing the entry for the Dunharrow camp site
"West Rohan: Dunharrow (70.3S, 71.4W) Camp",
After adding these lines to the respective files, it worked fine.

Hey thanks for the bug report... I missed Dunharrow completely it seems!
Unless they added the stable and campsite in another update which wouldn't surprise me.
I've made the additions on my end for the next build.

Is there a way to send the plugin output to a specific chat tab, rather than just general?

Post to another channel
As far as I understand, I don't think it's possible to that because the Turbine.Shell.WriteLine() command will only post text to your own window, and the only way to insert a /wd or /glff that is not treated as "text" is to bind it to a button, which means that you need to press a button multiple times to send each location one line at a time.
I could write a loop that binds each location to a button and when it is pressed it changes it to the next location and so on until the chain is displayed.
eg...
bind 1: /wd location a
bind 2: /wd location b
bind 3: /wd location c
etc until all the locations have been displayed
I did try adding the channel in a dropdown list, but it would only display the list to my own console... it actually shows "/wd location info" to my own console rather than to world chat.
I guess they built that into the writeln command so that people cant spam the chat the channels

There may be some minor confusion between chat tabs and channels. "General" is a tab. "Standard" is a chat channel. Each chat tab can have one or more channels displayed on it. Radicus is correct about how Lua is implemented and that it can only programmatically output text to the Standard or Error channels without additional user interaction. However, if you want the output from the plugin (and all other information in the Standard channel in a separate tab, just create a new tab, right click the tab and select "Standard" in the chat filters. You can then also remove Standard from the General tab and the text will no longer appear in General but will still appear in the new tab. You should be aware though that plugins are not the only thing that display in the Standard channel so you might still want Standard selected in the General tab, it all depends on your reasons for wanting the plugin output separate.
Note, plugins can also write to the "Error" channel so you might want to enable that channel in the chat filters for your new tab as well.

Can't load the plugin
Hi! I installed this plugin with the plugin compendium, but for some reason it isn't loading when I log in the game (I set it to automatically load for all characters in the ingame plugin manager).
This is the error I get:
Quote:
Unable to resolve package "RadicusPlugins.StableGuy.Main".
|
Any way on how I can solve this? Thanks in advance!

====================================
I had the same problem. If you look in your "...\The Lord of the Rings Online\Plugins" folder, you will see a sub-folder called "StableGuy". I renamed it to "RadicusPlugins", and it's working for me.

Thank you!
Thanks for creating this! Sounds quite useful in late game. I'll be checking it out later.

In order to do calculations based on premium and non-premium accounts. The simplest solution would be to add a checkmark called "Premium Account?" or some such. That user would check this in the options portion of the addon to let the addon know to take premium or non-premium members into consideration when calculating roots.
Some routes require a level requirement. This should also be taken into consideration before doing a calculation as they only unlock based on a required level. In terms of paths that unlock due to a pre-requite quest or something. I think that will be much harder to do.
I don't think addons have the ability to check for quest completion and such or anything related to the Deed Log access. But I suppose you could put a new options window with a scrollable frame filled with nothing but checkmarks. The user checkmarks the quests or requirements that have been completed as they go. Like "Completed Book 1: Chapter 10" checkbox. or "Quest: Something Something Something (Completed)" checkbox.
That way you can do the stable calculations that way. These are just some suggestions.

Definitely a lot more calculations.. and I'd have to find out which quests or chapters unlock certain areas. Mammoth task!

All previous Stables have been two-way...

Not true.
Examples:
Ost Guruth -> Candaith's Encampment -> The Forsaken Inn/Esteldin
tho you could argue Candaith is not labeled as Stable master.
However there is travel from Skarhald/Jarnafast to Minas Tirith - Main Gate and not back.

OMG! You're right! I never noticed this before. Damn! Was there a good reason why they did not do make it two-way? It makes no sense that travel is only in one direction after you have already discovered the stable.
