Installation Instructions

I like to think I'm in an intelligent person, but perhaps maybe I'm not since I got stuck with the installation.

I've spent about an hour, and honestly I'm about to just give up.

I had absolutely no issues getting the _Basictoolbar skindefinitions edited,
and have found the X and Y values with absolutely no issue.

But I will be damned if I can find the values to edit anywhere in the _UniversalToolbar.

Is there anyone kind enough to post the values I'm looking for? I've used Notepad ++ to search for "width" and "UI" , scrolling through hundreds upon hundreds of lines....no luck.

Edit: Despite being unable to find the value in the _UniversalToolbar, everything seems to be working fine with my resolution 3440x1440. At least all the menu's etc that I can see

Hi, universal toolbar (using the default toolbar code) do not require to be edited to fit your screen resolution, contrary to custom toolbars.

Hi, love the work

However i am having trouble with the toolbar since now the toolbar is in middle of the screen. I have tried adjusting it as per the instruction however it still stays in the same place.

Can you kindly confirm if 4k is supported please? If so whatdo i need to do please?

I am using the 3x2 toolbar

sorry for the late reply, lotrointerface fails to send me notifications

for 3840 x 2160 screen resolution and when running lotro game in fullscreen mode, the 3x2 toolbar should be correctly located when you replace the line 90 with this one :

Resize Toolbar

Is there a way to make the bottom toolbar and first action bar larger, more specifically, the 1x1 toolbar?

Im using a 3440x1440 resolution and the buttons are very small, but when I increase the UI, everything gets messed up.

Design a bigger toolbar would be simple but collect all classes skills and buffs icons in order to enlarge them is not supported in skinning.

You could try to use an universal toolbar theme and increase the toolbar UI.

Else, you could just decrease your game resolution in graphic options, this will zoom everything.

Two small issues

Set up:
1) Full Screen Windowed Mode
2) Resolution: 1920x1080
3) Modified ToolbarField for all applicable skins.

Skin looks great (thank you btw) except for these two small issues...

1) I changed the map elements you suggested in the SkinDefinitions.xml file, but the map continues to stay at 1024x768. I have shut down the client and went back in and logged several characters. They all have this issue.

2) The attunement graphic looks like it is getting cut off and is getting repeated (attached an image). I should mention that it works fine on my RK, but not my brawler.

Any thoughts?

Figured out map issue... Couldn't get the x/y to work, so I just deleted the mapbackground element from the xml. That seemed to fix it. However, Would love to get the Brawler attunement panel looking good. I'll keep poking around. Thanks.

Figured out the brawler issue as well. The latest download has the brawler skins commented out for some reason. Move the closing comment up to the top of the section and activate brawler. Worked perfectly!

As you can see this entire section was commented out for some reason or by mistake. Moving the --> at the end next to </Mapping> back up to the top of the section, un-comments it out and it works perfectly.

Hi, ty for your explanations, now I understand what you were talking about, so I can answer you .

This part was turned as comment because the 9th mettle bar picture, the full one, has an animation and is not supported by skinning despite all the community attempts to guess how to get it customized in skins.

However I will enable the uncomplete custom mettle bar it in Azure Glass as anyway there is no satisfying way to handle it at the present day.

Ah, now I understand. I still like the ability to see progress even though it might not be 100%. The animation isn't important enough to me to break the skin. Again, love the skin and appreciate you keeping it up to date.

Visual Portrait bug

Hey there! Awesome UI skin I'm having an issue (I play at 3440x1440 resolution) where whenever I change zones / instances, etc. my animated portrait in the "vitals" area starts to get bigger and zoom in. I've edited the .xml so all the toolbars and whatnot are in the right place, it's just this issue with the portrait. Any ideas?

I've attached a picture of it after zoning once so you can see. It starts out by fitting in the little blue circle, then gets bigger with each instance change, growing to the bottom right.
