Can't see completed quests

One thing I've never gotten to work on the JRR JappMe Short skin is to view completed quests. There is a small checkbox but it's actually the start of the searchbox for quest name, and I've not found any way to switch to completed. If you end up looking at the new allegiance panel could you please revisit that small corner?

Hi! thank you for this.

I'm new to the game and I'm really enjoying it.
But I still have one problem while playing it.

as much as I'm able to resize UI, I still have some difficult and sometimes even headaches when Trying to read text.

Is there ANY official way to customize font type? I know it isn't easy task, but this would really improve quality of life during the gameplay.

I have myopia + astigmatism and reading is what got me starting in this game, but it's been really hard ;S

Hello, sorry all for late reply, it looks like that one more time, since a few month, I'm no more noticed of new answers

@Ghaleondor Unfortunately skinning cannot handle text size. Small text size issues is a known problem.
An ingame option to change its size has been implemented but it does not handles everything as far as I know and I didn't tested it.
Have a look to Aa at the bottom of your quest book and to the up and down arrows next to it.

@Gloom Windowed map is a tweak discovered by Eclipse, this is not an official supported feature, and it is not intended to be edited.
1024x768 is the actual size of the map pictures, this is maybe the reason it works correctly with his parameter.
Contrary to plugins, skinning can only edit existing (supported) values and cannot add any new functionality to the game.

@Raederle The skins withing the JRR pack share the same panel customizations, including Jappme Short. I just tested it and found no issue with the "show completed quests" checkbox.

You can have a look to Aa at the bottom of your quest book and to the up and down arrows next to it.

You can also enlarge the whole user interface in option panel -> ui settings -> UI scale + and - buttons.

Hi Ardra, what map panel size would work? I've tried editing it and it doesn't seem to do anything, so I have to either use the unreadable 1024 size or full screen.

I'm on a 4k tv, I don't care if the map is blurry.

Hi the best options are is 1024x768 or full screen.

You can also give a try to 1600x1200 but hovering the map with your mouse cursor will probably report you wrong coordinates.

How do you get the Delving hills skins to have the minimap skins that are in it's folders? The definition file points to the JRR Core minimap folder and when I edit it, I just get the missing texture bug in game.

This is what my edited code looks like, I think it should work, but it doesn't, even when I logout and in.

Edit: for some reason the lily themed minimaps in the large toolbar folder work, but the ivy (jappme) skins in the short custom toolbar don't.

Hi, only both short toolbar skins display the minimap from JRR core folder.
Large toolbar 1 & 2 don't.

I tested you code and it succeeded to re-enable the Jappme's radar theme.

I have a 3440x1440 4k monitor and have no idea how to get ui lined up, it's all way off center.
Checked the information but it only goes up to '2560x1600' resolution.
So how do i configure anything for my screen?

Q&A :
- On delving Hills short / Monsters Lair short / BGM Opaque Short / Erebor custom, my toolbar is not centered or its buttons cannot be clicked :
These particular profiles require the user to edit the corresponding skindefinition.xml file to position the toolbar in order to fit his own game resolution.
The way to proceed is logged at the beginning of the skindefinition.xml file from the skin you want to fiddle. Open it with any text editor, like Wordpad or Notepad.
Any higher resolution is supported, just calculate it as explained in the beginning of the skindefinition from each skin embedding a custom toolbar.
I you play in window mode or switch between window mode and fullscreen mode, you can bypass the "Y" issue by simply setting the toolbar scale to a value different than 1.00 ( in lotro option panel -> UI settings tab) (0.99 or 1.01 is ok).

Thumbs up Allegiance Button Different?

First of all, thanks for keeping this collection up to date!!! Years ago I tried several skins and found very few that I liked. Now, I have a bunch of them!!!

Anyhow, I just wanted to point out an anomaly I noticed. It doesn't affect me, but I figured it might be an issue for some.

If you have the allegiances panel set in one of your UI slots, it shows up all by its lonesome in the "short" versions of skins where the UI slots are hidden. I'm guessing that the normal affect is achieved by replacing the image files for the various UI slot options with something translucent, and allegiances are new enough that no replacement graphic has been added to the skins.

Like I said, it's not a big deal. To make it go away, you can just put something else in that UI slot. However, for those skins that actually make aesthetic use of the various icons they may wish to pay attention to this.

Hello. Many thanks for the huge pack of skins. Haven't played LotRO for a while. I returned and decided to update the skins to the current version.
1. Previously, I used the "Delving Hills Short" skin. By updating to the current version, this skin became known as "Delving Hills Short Custom". And the former "Short" now has an extended experience bar and invisible buttons on both sides of the bar. Is that how it was intended?

2. Found wrong frame coordinates. The screenshot shows the first example without using the skin. On it, the icon with the avatar's face is located correctly relative to the frame. In all JRR skins, the frame (or avatar), as well as the level of the character, has an offset. There is also an offset within the selected target.

3. In various skins, there is a discrepancy between the frame of your character and the frame of the selected character. Usually this only applies to the VIP frame. But some skins (for example, "Monsters Lair" or "The White Hand") behave incorrectly even with frames for the anniversary (own frame - a monster, frame of the selected target - freep).
P.S. For me personally, the problem with the offset and incorrect display of the frame is very painful in the "Azure Glass" skin

Hello and thx for your feedback, even for such a bad news

1 - Concerning delving hills this is normal, the former short version has just been renamed into "custom" to inform users that is a custom code to edit manuyally to fit the screen resolution..

2 - I didn't noticed yet the vital frame codes were so much been stabbed in the back. Using my screenshots I can see it has been introduced on July 20 2022 with update 33.1

In my quick test even the default game skin is affected.
I'm releasing hotfixes of Azure Glass, E&E panels and Smallbar in a first time, waiting for some feedbacks before releasing and update of the JRR skins pack (which is always a long work).

3 - The fact some player portrait differ from opponent portrait was made by choice, not by mistake
