That icon comes from the patch by Galphoglas. I don't speak French, but in the code, I didn't find any way to hide it.
You can edit BuffBarsIcone.plugindata (found in Documents\The Lord of the Rings Online\PluginData\<your account>\AllServers) to put the icon completely off your screen by using negative numbers for Top and Left. That is what I am doing. The button and its code are still loaded, just off the screen. There is a danger that the 'off' state could be set, and I don't see any way to toggle that other than the button.
The other option is to not use the patch, but then you don't get the update for Beornings and the bug fixes.

Commenting out the import "PengorosPlugins.Buffbars.Icon"; in BuffBars/__init__.lua seems to do the trick.
Edit: Also comment out IconeSauve(); in BuffBars/Main.lua.

Well it seems to work but when I tried to blacklist/hide Gift of the Hammerhand/Helmingas it was still there. The blue bar still there as well even after turning off all the timer options except Icons.

Rend
Hi there. Any idea how can I put Armour Rend and/or Rend Tier X (champion debuff as result as using Rend) on the effect windows? I copy/paste the text exactly how it's spelled but can't seem to make it work.
Thank you.

u39.1.2 introduced issue with Captain/Mariner
LOTRO update 39.1.2 introduced an issue for BuffBars related to the Captain/Mariner buff "Motivated" which is applied by the skills Motivating Speech/Motivating Song.
When the Motivated buff is applied to the character, the following error message appears in the chat log:
...ugins\PengorosPlugins\BuffBars\EffectBarSetting s.lua:144: attempt to index field '?' (a nil value)
The plugin does not display the Motivated buff but otherwise continues to function normally.
When the Motivated buff is present on the character at the moment the plugin is loaded (usually during character log-in), that error message appears in the chat log and the plugin fails to load.
More can be read about this issue here:
https://www.lotrointerface.com/downl...fo.php?id=1155
https://forums.lotro.com/index.php?t...g-skill.10987/
The fix suggested by b414213562 described in the first link above had no effect.
BuffBars, with both the https://www.lotrointerface.com/downl...fo.php?id=1000 patch and the https://www.lotrointerface.com/downl...fo.php?id=1155 patches, continues to work well otherwise. However, this bug introduced by u39.1.2 will prevent proper function whenever the Motivated buff is present at character log-in or applied later.
