Description
After having tested much UI, my preference is going to WhiteClaw's UI.
I modified, translated (in French) and completed this UI, so that it corresponds to my waitings.

K'Ramel Metal include :
- Metal 1 bar (En & Fr)
- Metal 2 bars (En & Fr)
- Metal 3 bars (En & Fr)
- Metal 4 bars (En & Fr) *** NEW ***

Instructions:
Open the SkinDefinition.xml in Notepad (or your favorite editor) and read
for the instructions.

Code:
<!-- To set your user panel centered -->
<!-- Edit the X="###" and Y="###" -->
<!-- Look up your resolution. (in my case 1280x1024) -->
<!-- Calculate X="###" 1280/2=640, 640-258=382, X="382" -->
<!-- Calculate Y="###" 1024-152=872, Y="872" -->

<!-- Pour centrer le panneau -->
<!-- Editer X="###" et Y="###" -->
<!-- Vérifier votre resolution. (Ex: 1280x1024) -->
<!-- Calculer X="###"  soit 1280/2=640, 640-258=382, X="382" -->
<!-- Calculer Y="###" soit 1024-152=872, Y="872" -->

Can't get this to work, the autoattack button is in the right spot but the toolbar parts are all smashed off the bottom of the screen. I edited the XML file for 1600x1200 but it didn't seem to make any difference. What am I doing wrong?

I tested in 1600x1200 and you need to modifiy on XML file (X="542", Y="1048") :
Code:
<Element ID="ToolbarField" X="542" Y="1048" Width="516" Height="152" Detach="1">
Don't forget to log out and log back in for the UI to update

I hope this helps you.

Problems with UI

Well I have fixed the UI for 1440x900 and it works fine but when I go to windowed mode it is all bunched up and does not work right. Also when i try to drag a skill on to one of the empty buttons, the skill does not show up, like it was never placed there. Any advice would be greatly needed.

Me having few problems

To start this off, I want to thank you for this superb UI, it's just what i've been looking for.

Buuuut, theres just this tiny problem Im having with it. Im running Lotro in 22" widescreen that has 1680x1050 resolution. In fullscreen it looks OK, the only thing that is wrong is that the main controllbar isn't sentered (it's wee bit on the left side). Now here comes the BIG problem. When Im switching to windowed mode all goes to hell. Well, not all but still... The main controlbar gets all crumbled together. Think it is becouse the resolutin twistes the form of the bar. The width of the bar stayes the same, as the hight changes. So all looks streched and weard.

I have tryed to fix this with no success. Mnaged to change the "resolution attributes" to the SkinDefinition.xml file so it look OK in the 1680x1050 res. But dont really know what to do, so it would work in windowed mode too. And yes, I have tryed to fiddle with the Lotro Skin Editor, but just cant get anywhere with it.

Would be wery happy if you or someone else who have the answer to my problem, would post a solution here.

Thanks in advance...

I've read the instructions over and over and over again and I still can't figure out how to setup SkinDefinition.xml to work on my 1280x1024 res >_> everything is overlapping.

I really like the look of this, very clean and simple . . . . in the creators screen shots.

However I am having the same difficulties as a fwe others, I am running 1440 x 900, and have edited the file as instructed following the calculations, but my graphics are "smashed off the screen" at the bottom and overlapped to buggery.

Would be grateful if anyone has a solution to this?

When you change the UI don't forget to log out and log back in for the UI to update.
1. For 1280 x 1024 you don't need to modify xml file.
2. For 1440 x 900 you need to modify the xml file with (X="462", Y="748") :
Code:
<Element ID="ToolbarField" X="462" Y="748" Width="516" Height="152" Detach="1">
I hope this helps you.

I've enjoyed this UI tremendously, however...

Upon applying it, logging out/back in, things were in tip-top shape. But after logging out for a time (we all need sleep. heh) and jumping back into the game, the main toolbar was shoved about an inch to the left, and up an inch and a half or so (this is on a 22" widescreen, for scaling purposes).
I attempted to switch back to the default UI, log out/in, then switch back to this and log out/in...but upon applying it and logging in after, the toolbar was offset in the same way, again!

I'm not quite sure what I'm doing wrong, here (note that upon applying the default UI, the toolbar moved back to the bottom center of the screen, where it belongs), but I would greatly appreciate any help.

EDIT: Nevermind. I had tried using K'Ramel Metal 3, and had only set the SkinDefinition.xml file properly in the K'Ramel Metal 1 folder. Remind me to wake up before I post. Heh.

Quickslots not working.

I love the design of this interface and really want to use it but I have a problem.
I chose the 3 row Quickslots but only the main slots work. If I try to drag and drop a skill into any of the other slots on the other 2 rows it is like they don't exist. Anyone have any idea what I may be doing wrong or what I can do to fix this.

Go to otpions, unlock the quickslots bars, and move them (with Ctrl * ) just under the UI bars

I hope this helps you.

I'm having the same issue, even with the updated 2.20, anything more then the main bar, the slots don't seem to work.

Did you unlock the quickshot bars ? and moved them on the UI bars (Ctrl *) ?
The slot on the UI is just a picture, you need to drag and drop your skill on the quickshot, and move the bar over the picture slots.
