Please keep this in mind,my skin defintion file changes each release due to problems or upgrade or new coding addition.
So make a backup of your old skindefintion file before overwritting mine incase you added some codes not related to my own
design for my skin UI.

Removed the following skin art cause it is no longer used by the game:
Bank chest art.
Craft tabs and background.

Following has been re fix and re edit the skin:

The money bar in the character sheet.
The drop shadows of the buttons on the ingame option menu.
Removed the letter of the upkeep page for housing and guild hall(DUE-PAID).
The quest panel header background image has been fixed.
Barbershop:Made invisible background image due to misss aligned drop shadows of plus and minus buttons.

Please Note that on the deed page for the reputation tab,its missing the art cause we don't have the new art asset to
reskinned them.

Skindefinition file info:
Also because of some rare bug in different language OS I have decided to remove the toolbar panel ID code to minimize the problem about not be able to select my UI ingame for some odd reason.

I also will renamed my skin folder with out the [Period(.)] like 4.2 it will be only
4 2 with a blank space,this also is to reduce a rare bug in different language OS as stated above.

It could also affect people playing Virtual Machines, so those are the steps I'm taking to minimize the rare bug.

Note:
Because I have removed the toolbar ID code,the long fervor bars and the focus bars will be removed.
I have re created a small size bars that the default dimension lets me make.

Also please note that the attack animation button has been re enable due to removal of the toolbar panel ID code.
This why I move the Fervor and the Focus bar to be located top side of the attack animation circle button.
I also restored the attack button from 3.1 due to the animation button not looking right with the small attack button from 4.2.

Also because I have remove the toolbar code you no longer have to worry about minimizing the game and back to fullscreen,the toolbar will remain at the bottom of the screen all times.
So 1 skindefintion file will be already in the bgm folder,you will no longer need to worry about what resolution to play the game but you still have to play the game above this resolutions width 1024 height 720.
This is due to the new dressing room and the deed page.

NOTE
Please use either 7-zip or peazip to extract my UI's.
Do not use the built in windows zip program,my UI are compressed very high and windows cannot extract all the UI correctly.

If you have winzip or winrar,make sure you have the latest version to be able to extract my UI's.

UI not listed

Hi there,,,
I am in the trial version of Lotr, and am planning on playing... I downloaded the
zip, and made the ui folder and skin folder... under the options/ui in the main menu it just says none under current skin... any whats wrong? Is it because its the trial and not full version?

I'm not sure if its because of the trial version.

Can you tell me what OS(Win XP,Vista etc) you are using?

Make sure the name of the folders you created are exactly named like in faq.

Make sure the folder name (skins) have the letter ( s ) at the end.

If your using vista it should look like this on the pic below since Windows XP is
little different.

Full path example should be like this on Vista:
C:\Users\Brygard\Documents\The Lord of the Rings Online\ui\skins\black glass mix red v 2.0

No,sorry Turbine doesn't allow it and there isn't any way to add functional addon like that ingame.

Only thing we can do is Modification on the UI skin art,that's it.

You can try adding your opinion on the following post,maybe Turbine might one day let us but for now no.

I love the UI, but how do I change it? This is my first time using a new UI, so I am not sure. I'm referring to the quickslot bars by the way. I'd love some of them on the side of my screens, or just wherever. T_T I hope this won't cause too much of a burden to answer.

No problem to answer at all Volsung.

Go under the options for the quickslots.

Uncheck the box for docking.
Check mark to show bars always bar 1 to 5 or less.
Click accept,then when that window closes for option panel,press same time
Ctrl and \ to unlock the UI panels.

All the UI panels will be movable and the quick bars too.
The quick bars have a yellow/golden circle,when you click that it will make
the quick bars to up and downward and click again will make it side by side.

I guess you can I mean I never tried it so i wouldn't know if the UI will look good.
As far I know the scaling is bad in this game,the UI looks blurry and stuff.

So I leave mine as defaulted 1.0.

At the moment I can't access my game to check.
But think the scaling option is the same panel as where you select the Ui skin choice,it near the bottom.
