Request: loot updates in chat window
 

Hi folks,

I've been looking around for an addon that will automatically give a chat notification of the total amount of an item in your inventory as it is looted.

For example, let's say I've just mined a copper node and receive 2 copper ores and I currently have 10 in my inventory...it would display the usual loot message in the chat window, but append "[12 total]" to the end.

It sure would help keeping track of things without always having to open the inventory and go searching for them all the time.

Well I suck with LUA scripting so I wouldn't be of any help with making something like that. However, I know when it comes to farming ore and wood, I just dragged the ore to a quick slot and it will show you how many you have. That way you don't have to keep opening your inventory. :)
