Question for plugin users:
 

With the numerous methods of information delivery available, what method of delivering plugin update notifications and information,would be most convenient for you?

Note: This question is from my own curiosity as a developer, and is not meant to exclude or infer that existing methods available at LotROInterface, or future methods such as MMOUI Minion or Curse Client are somehow inferior. If one of those methods are your preference, then by all means, feel free to list it.

MMOUI Minion gets my vote!

I guess I didn't know about: MMOUI Minion. Personally, either would work for me. As long as updated plugins get downloaded automatically, either work!

Oh I definitely agree, whether it be Minion or Curse Client, automatic updates would be a godsend. However, until that time - or for some who decide not to mess with such a tool, I've been thinking about whether or not the existing methods for passing on information and update notifications are as convenient or even as informative as they could be.

This isn't really a LotROInterface needs to change type of thing, but more a personal quest to find the best way to connect to users.

I would love to see auto-updates via mmoui Minion, until then I'm happy with the email update alert. Since I check the site daily I get to see when new stuff has been posted without having to spend a lot of time looking at new ones.

For the MMO's I've played... I have used Curse Client for most of them.

Very easy to update and/or revert to earlier version.
