getting started
 

Hi everyone, I have a quick question.
i downloaded some UI's and installed them per the F.A.Q. on this site.
however, i do not see them show up as options on the options screen (the Misc UI skin drop-down) is there something I'm missing? i have just patched to book 12, is that an inconsistency, and will require newer versions of the UI's ? i remember patch day alway boogered up my old wow UI and it took me a while to get the latest versions, and settings tweaked.

or am I completely missing something obvious?

I checked some UI's and they worked and are selectable in options.
Did you completly exit the lotro client and restart after you installed the UI?
Rename your The Lord of the Rings Online at my documents or delete it and
let the client create a new one.Then create the Ui folder and skins folder and install the UI in the skins folder.

Doh!

I misread the faq, how I did that over and over again is still a mystery, but I'll blame solar flares.
