Game not seeing the UI mod.

Okay i have read the instructions and seen a couple of similar posts in these forums. So far everything seem to point that the following should work:

C:\Documents and Settings\Mine\My Documents\The Lord of the Rings Online\ui\skins\nui(bossy ed.)

However, the game i snot seeing it. I still get "None" in the selection box.

The game is installed on D: drive, but it should not matter.

Help.

have you completely exited out of LOTRO and log in again?

Rotorin 09-08-2007 01:44 AM

Yep, but I'll try again tomorrow.

perhaps the mod is simply out of date, the author hasn't changed anything on it since may

Rotorin 09-08-2007 09:02 AM

Could be, since it still no workie.

Is there an up to date minimalist theme out there?

YESSH is fairly small on the screen

Welp, dont know what is wrong, maybe is one of my winxp tweaks, but still no dice even with the Yessh mod. Frustrating, but oh well. If there are any other far out ideas that might help, let me know.

Two questions:

1) Was the Lord of the Rings Online folder already in your My Documents folder, or did you have to create it yourself?

2) What OS are you using? WinXP, Vista, something else?

Hello Cairenn,

The Lotro folder was already there.

I am running WinXP pro.

The only thing I can think of is that I have the OS setup to Disable User Tracking:

[HKEY_CCURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Policies\Explorer]"NoInstrumentation"=dword:00000001

Rotorin 09-10-2007 07:26 PM

Okay I re-enabled user tracking by returning the above registry entry to "0" aka "normal", but it did not help either.

Any clues?
