Update 2 UI Changes

The Character Panel Changes Developer Diary has some nice screenshots of the new Character Panel but it doesn't show the new design for the other character panel tabs. I logged onto Bullroarer to see what they look like. I noticed one update from the Dev Diary, which is the addition of text labels on the buttons at the bottom of the Character Panel. Each of these buttons opens a separate window that's not attached to the Character Panel. The skills, titles, biography, house, hobby, reputation and PvMP windows look very similar to the current interface (see the skills window as an example).

The biggest change is the old Barter Wallet window. The wallet now contains not only barter tokens but also gold, legendary weapons shards, destiny points and revive tomes. The bar on the bottom of the window shows that the window can be resized.

I personally like the new wallet but it looks like I'm going to have to memorize the shortcuts for the separate windows now. Luckily I can use the menu to open the windows until that happens.

I appreciate the mentioned changes.., but my gosh they move so soooo slooow.

Its been what 2years since all this started I had hoped UI modding for lotro would be farther along than it is and there really haven't been any meaningful or helpful advancements.

as we already mentionned unfortunatly Frosty seems away and not working any more on the UI (and even Lotro ?)

So dont expect anything coming for UI. We have asked so many times in Lotro Forum without any answer --i should rather say a total ignorance--- that we should not expect anything from now.

I found out new names files but guessing the BG correspondant is ... hummm very hard.

Yep, you're right. The biggest change is to the Relic-master interface. There are now 4 tabs for Relic Forging, Deconstruct, Transmutation and Refine. The Forge-master interface looks mostly the same. The legendary items window was updated to add another 2 slots for a total of 8 items. The extra slots are for sale in the LotRO Store (295 tp on Bullroarer).

There is a little problem also actually with the Resize function they applied to almost every panel.

As i had a problem with my actual UI, i decided to test with another UI (I took Brygard).

So lets see the Skills panel :
1 - version format standard
each UI works fine


2 - Version extended using the resize - Skill Active:



I surligned yellow a square that appear now on every UI modified.
Also when you have a skill on timer, the shadow of this timer is repeated along on all the window

as you can see not only there is still the same rectangle that appear now on every UI modified, but now the Blue selection Skill trainer repeat itself on all the window when you use the resize option.

It seems that either they removed a panel or a border -i tested about 6 different UI and they all have the same problem--.

and also that they totally changed the size of some panels.

There's another bug (or incomplete ui?) on the Creep character window. Similar to the new Freep window, there are buttons on the bottom that open separate windows for Skills, Title, Traits and Wallet. They don't have fancy graphics, so maybe this part of the window is only a rough draft. The problem is that there isn't a button for The War, one of the most important windows for creeps. Hopefully it will be fixed before going live.
The missing button was reported on the forums: The war tab?

I'm also attaching the Creep wallet as comparison to the Freep version.

I found a inThierAbsence_Lore_Tab but i did not tested it actually and as you can see there is a typo.
