Re: Error with new beta 2.5

Every time i load the new beta 2.5 I get an error. ...ins\Tonic\TonicBars\Bars\Quickslots\QuickslotBa r.lua:100: attempt to index global 'maitre_d' (a nil value).
Just thought you might wanmt to know. I did remove the old tonic folder from Plugins, but not any other folders that might contain settings from the previous version.

Thanks, I just put in protection against this! It'll get into the next Beta.

Re: unzipping

Took me FOREVER to get this to work. Apparently I have to unzip the original unzipped file, or something like that. It doesn't work the same way the rest of the plugin files did, but I finally figured it out.
|
Yeah, this is a little different, I do my whole plugin through Curse.com including their packager. Most other plugins do not use this service, so, their packaging is a little different. Did you read the ReadMe.txt? I tried to make it obvious how to install it there. Glad you got it up and running.

I'm a fan of this plugin.
However, just a small request... Is it possible, when resizing the buttons, to also resize the image accordingly instead of just cropping them ?

User experience
Hi, thanks for great plugin.
Here is my bug reports:
1) The luncher icon does not go away when I press F12.
2) A bar set to trigger on poisoned, triggers when any poison debuff with Resistance: Poison is active. Would make sence that it was only when that debuff was dispellable. Then the bar would only pop up when I could remove it with a pot or skill.

No, I wanted to solve this for a while. It actually took me a long time to solve it. It was an elusive one!

magill, Thanks for the congats! I have a 3 year old as well as the Twins. The worst part of the twins are over and now it just gets better and easier. Yeah, we still have diapers, potty training, temper tantrums, etc, but at least on average, they can eat by themselves (provided food) and walk places. Soon they'll be able to navigate stairs (which will be huge). :P
I find that the worst ages are 0-1.5 years. Because they need food all the time, diapers changed all the time, your not sleeping, etc. Everythings up hill from that!
By the way: Thanks for all the bug reports, I've been working my way through them.

Assorted congratulations
Quote:
Hey everyone!!! Sorry, it's been a while. Sorting out a lot of things in my own life. Including loosing weight. Down 20lbs so far. That and the fact that my Twins started walking which required a LOT more of my time then when they were crawling!! :P

Yah i know, this is what I do all the time at the moment, but we shouldn't have to do that at every levelup. It is just annoying.

I've been working on a fix to this problem and have it fixed locally. Will be pushing that into SVN soon. I'm also getting the rest of the DragBar & Profile Copying stuff good enough to release. Expect a v2.5 coming SOON!

Re: Help needed please

Libraries/Documents/My Documents/The Lord of the Rings Online/Plugins/
It put a folder named tonicbars in the plugins folder.
...
I tried extracting to a Tonic folder within the plugins folder and that did not work either.

You should wind up with...
Documents/The Lord of the Rings Online/Plugins/Tonic/TonicBars
Documents/The Lord of the Rings Online/Plugins/Tonic/TonicBars.plugin
Documents/The Lord of the Rings Online/Plugins/Tonic/UI
Documents/The Lord of the Rings Online/Plugins/Tonic /Utils
The folder "/The Lord of the Rings Online" is created automatically by the Turbine client when the game is first launched.
The plugins directory is only scanned by the client when you first start the client. Despite what "refresh" implies, it does not see things added while the client is running. (This is probably a Turbine bug, I don't know.)
Exit the client and re-launch it. then you should see Tonic Bars.
I forget if you need to also include the two Turbine folders or if NT now included the parts needed in his UI and UTILS folders. When the LUA system first went on-line, you needed to include the two Turbine folders.
