there seems to be a compatability issue between this plugin, and the BuffBars plugin. If you load them both, the buffbars will not update the buffs/debuffs/ etc.. Turning this plugin off, allows buffbars to do it's job. .anyone else experiance this issue?

Which set of bars return the error (Guardian, Champion, Captain, etc)? Is the error on load or does it occur at some other point?

Please verify that you have the latest version (v2.15 also fixes IDOME) and that you have also installed all suplemental packages (see 2 links above for DragBar and Turbine libraries).

Hey, checked the actual buff name in game, it follows Tolkien's capitalization rules.
"In Defence of Middle-earth"
take note that the e in earth is not capitalized.
Not sure if that's it, but it could be the difference I suppose
**EDIT**
That appears to have worked Valdacil, however, I am getting an error message now that I wasn't getting before. I can't tell what it's affecting though.
...s Online\Plugins\KragenPlugs\KragenBars\CaptBars.lua :348: attempt to index local 'effect' (a nil value)
There may also be some sort of conflict with BuffBars, after I loaded it when KragenBars appeared to be working, now the IDoMe isn't disappearing

Just so you and everyone else is aware I do plan on updating the original KragenBars (and kragenslots) plugin. I have been in the midst of a big move and haven't had full access to my main computer or Internet for the last few weeks. Expect new updates this week.

I also do not have a Turbine.UI.Lotro file; but the plugin works nonetheless. Please ensure you have the directory structure listed below and that you are typing the command using the correct capitalization and the quotation marks.
With regard to the version number, I probably just missed updating that file in my rush to get the plugin fixed after Turbine broke everything.

Problems getting the plugin to load
EDIT -- Just saw the new load command also when I looked in the Main.lua file I noticed the version number is out of date it's listed as 2.12 not 14
Ok I'm getting no feedback so I'll give you what I can
So I DL'ed the 3 programs to try and get this one to work and installed them all into the plugins directory. This is my first time trying to use your plugin
Then I loaded the game and tried to load the plugin but there was no error message just an unable to load plugin Kragenbars.
I've done some programming and had a look at the mail.lua file. which tries to import "Turbine.UI.Lotro"; and the Beta_LuaPlugins.7z file definitely didn't create that folder. The only folder under Turbine.UI is Extensions so I can only assume that the .lotro isn't a folder or file but some alternative command.
I've never programmed Lua but it's a start on my end to try to solve the problem. I hope you can come up with a solution and it's something simple I missed.
I'm running lotro with
OS Windows 7 64bit
video - Dx10

Hey I will give it a try in awhile. I did try to type it the way you did but not with caps.. because I guess as you said, they changed it! Thanks for your replies. I will try later and let you know as I am not home right now. I also play just a Champion and Hunter so I didn't see the captain issues but then again i couldn't load it heh. I hope later when I get home, I can.
Also will this work with tonicbars or does this have something like kragenslots?

To All: Please Note: Looks like Turbine changed the way plugins are loaded. To load KragenBars Leveled w/out the in game Plugin manager use the following command:
/plugins load "KragenBars Leveled"
Include caps and quotation marks. Just tested this and it worked for me.

Bleeding... Can you please explain more about what problems you are having? Please ensure you have the latest version (currently v2.14) and that you also have the suplemental libraries (linked in the text above, both the DragBar and Turbine libraries). If you have both libraries and KragenPlugs installed in the correct place you should in your plugins directory:
Deusdictum
KragenPlugs
Turbine
TurbinePlugins
The KragenPlugs directory should have:
DUInterface
KragenBars
Kragenbars.plugin
<readme file is unecessary>
I did have someone report to me (and I just tested it), that if you try: /plugins load kragenbars it fails; but if you use Cearbhall's Plugin Manager it works fine. I cannot begin to fathom what Turbine did there to break that.
Katarnus:
Thank you for the additional information regarding IDOME. I couldn't think of why it wasn't working since the coding all looks fine, but the fact that TonicBars isn't recognizing it either tells me something. I suspect that the "name" of the buff changed causing both our coding to not recognize it. Please cast the buff, then post back here the EXACT name of the buff (as it appears under your vitals display) including capitalization. It currently says: "In Defence of Middle-Earth" in the code.

can you explain how you install this? I am dragging the folder kragenplugs into the plugin directory and when i log in and do plugins list, it's there but it can't load. is that interface folder supposed to be in there or replace the other folder? The old kragenbars worked fine and i can run any other plugin on this site fine, but this one just won't load for me. I'm trying to understand why.
Even method 1 (drag KragenBarsLeveled.2.10.zip onto Lotr:O Plugin Assistant) does not work for me. Works with other plugins though.
