Hi,
I installed the DailyTasks Plugin as said in the README. The 1st loading to a character went well. The character was added and I was able to work with the plugin.

The next day, the plugin didn't load. After some normal messages
[Timestamp]DT: German data
[Timestamp]DT: Daily Taks 4.1, settings loaded.

the start stoped with an error message:
attempt to compare string with number
[Timestamp]<lotro-user directory>\Plugins\Vinny\DailyTasks\DT_Main.lua:65 : Failed to import package "Vinny.DailyTasks.DT_Window"

I tried to check installation, but it didn't change the error.

Then I tried to load the plugin with a different character. The character was added, but the plugin didn't load. And there were additional error messages

[Timestamp]<lotro-user directory>\PluginData\<ServerName>\AllCharacters\D ailyTasks_Settings.plugindata:5: ']' expected near','
[Timestamp]<lotro-user directory>\Plugins\Vinny\DailyTasks\DT_Main.lua:33 : Unable to parse file!

So I thought, it may be related to the settings file and I deleted it. After that the plugin loaded again and I could work with it - for exact one time.

So I think there is a problem with my settings file. Is there anything I can do about? Update something or change something?

P.S: I tried this with version 4.0.4, 4.0.5 and 4.1 so I think it's a problem on my side. But I can't figure it out. Help is much appreciated.

Broken Wooden Maces are still being accepted by the Eglain (TE) at the Foresaken Inn. This evidently dropped off on your last update. It still shows them as being accepted in Bree (MB) but not at the Foresaken Inn.

This version adds the new task boards and trophies in update 19. As usual, the 3 new task boards contain the same 6 tasks which have also been added to the homestead 101- board.

I've also enhanced the Homestead checkbox so that setting it will reset the location to All and changing the location will reset the checkbox. This is to clarify how it was already operating.

I took a little more time to check for defects, but if you still find one, please report it.

A new region with new task boards, new trophies and a new rep group. I've started updating the plugin and will post after it's been tested.

Yes, I've put a wrapper around the calls to Turbine.PluginData.Load()/Save() that converts the numbers to strings before saving and reads them from these strings upon loading. Due to the way the calls are made in DT_Main.lua, some changes are necessary in the main file.

I have succeeded in creating a pull request on GitHub. But what a waste of time for a tool that cannot even handle the problem of different line endings between operating systems without major configuration work.

I've just noticed that we've got two german translation by now, one by JOElotro and one that I submitted to Vinny in 2015. My translation never got accepted and JOElotro´s translation does not work on my computer because of the locale bug when writing settings from a lua script.

Is there a chance that we can combine efforts and produce a version that works?

Unfortunately, Housing storage is not exposed to Lua so this is not possible.

Would it be possible to include items stored in a Chest in a Personal House, similar to how Vaults and Shared Storage can be used?

I don't list tasks with the level displayed in the description, but the level at which they can actually first be turned in.

You have the task levels in Suri-Kyla, Forochel listed in the 30s, when they are actually in the 40s.

All tasks turned in at Meluinen now give Elves of Rivendell (ER) faction, not Rangers of Esteldin (RE)

You're right. They changed the board so that all the tasks now give rep. I'll change it in the next version and also do spot checks on other boards.
