Char name with tilde displayed after task entry
I couldn't find this explained anywhere in the readme file. DT sometimes displays a line like this when I look at tasks on my level 51 Burglar, Dagric:
DT: 35/ 8 [Powerful Branch], 46-50 @ Gwingris(--) (~Dagael) I have a level 75 RK named "Dagael". Any idea why it is listing "~Dagael" (with a tilde) in the above entry? The tasks are too low level for my 75 RK in any case, so I'm not sure why it is listing the RK.

If you've got the latest version of DT, these items and locations should already be included, but thanks for trying to help.

Moria task items
I'm not sure of ALL areas in Moria, but I've made a short list of items that can be turned in at task boards in the Dolven-view and Deep Descent. All task quests are level 53 (at this point, I'm level 50) and can be turned in for reputation both with the Iron Garrison Guards and Miners.
Barbed Claws
Creepy Filth
Polished Scales
Polished Sword Sheaths
Charming Sword Sheaths
Spotted Skin
There are separate entries on the boards for Guards and Miners rep, but all task quests are level 53. I believe all of them require you to turn in 20 items each.
21st Hall is a little different. Items wise and quest levels are different, but they also require 20 items to turn in.
Raking Claws
Nasty Filth
Elegant Scales
Elegant Sword Sheaths
Beautiful Sword Sheaths
Creepy Skin

Merging two accounts - part two
Hi!
I merged the two accounts data files and it works like a charm!
I saved also a comparison in "Beyond Compare" so I can quickly update the two files from now on when a character changes level...
Nice!

If I manually merge the files relative to the two accounts (just adding the characters names and keeping the levels updated, of course) could I have some unpleasant side effects in game?
Would it be difficult/too much time consuming for you to add some options to "merge" in this way accounts on the same pc?
Thank you again for the great work!

I'm glad to hear you enjoying it. I too am an alt-aholic, which is one of the reason I wrote DT. While you can add as many additional entries as you want to the player table (just be sure all the lines end with commas), Lua has no way to access information under other accounts, so they can't be automatically merged.
Note: You can also do spot checks by manually changing the level # in the DT window.

Merging two accounts
How could I have lived without this plugin?
Great work, and almost incredible thinking that you enter all the task items data manually. Kudos!
It works greatly for me, but I have a small question/problem...
Some month ago, beside my vip account, I created a second free account, (mainly in order to create a one man kinship ) and, being alt-oholic, the thing backfired. Now I have 9 alts (or better 9 mains) in two accounts played on the same computer...
As you can imagine, I would like to use DT to manage both groups as a single one.
I examined the PluginData directory and I found the DailyTasks_Settings.plugindata file in the server AllCharacters folder which seems to contain the characters list and their levels.
If I manually merge the files relative to the two accounts (just adding the characters names and keeping the levels updated, of course) could I have some unpleasant side effects in game?
Would it be difficult/too much time consuming for you to add some options to "merge" in this way accounts on the same pc?

This means that the DT_Main.lua file was not found in the Plugins\MyPlugins\DailyTasks folder where it belongs. Be sure to follow the instructions in the ReadMe file.

Version 2.6
I've added the commands /dtv and /dts with corresponding window buttons to run the /dt scan on the contents of your vault or shared storage. Before the command can be used, the vault must be opened and you must be in the vicinity of the vault. The filters and level selection are not used in the scan.

I agree and I've added the ability to scan both vault and shared storage to the next version (currently in testing).
I don't plan to track vault contents when away from the vault as it would take a huge addition to the code to support it. Scanning an open vault fits very nicely with the current code structure and only required some small additions.

Re: Compatibility with Plugin Compendium
I've requested that an option be added to Plugin Compendium that would support the current release structure of DT and the author said he would consider it, but no time frame was given.

Great plugin, can it check bank and also be made compendium compatible?
Just wanted to say that this is one of my "must have plugins" and have used it almost since I started playing a few months ago. As has already been requested, I second the request to make it compendium compatible, compendium does make life so much easier. Some players are just not tech savy enough to deal with adding plugins, especially when different authors bundle them up differently, so any plugin that is compendium compatible, is far easier for me to recommend to my friends, as I don't have the pain of explaining how to install :-)
With update 7 giving access to Banks, a really useful feature would be to consider what a char has in his vault as well. If the vault contents can be captured so this works away from the vault, all the better, but even if it just works when I have my vault open, that would be a massive help, as I tend to store all the task items in my vault.
Once again, thanks for the great work

Is DailyTasks compatible with Plugin Compendium?
It would be a beautiful thing if I could keep my DailyTasks up-to-date via PC, especially as I try to manage the plugins for the other three members of my family on their computers.
Thanks,
Dave D
