This is another rep initialization problem. I've added a check for it in the next release, but if you visit all your characters and load DT, it should properly initialize the settings.

As a follow-up, with this new version (3.4.3) I am getting this error when I hit the "Find Top Rep Item Uses"

This is a minor update that fixes an initialization defect in kindred settings, updates the French localized data to version 3.4 and ignores the R-O setting when a trophy is dropped in the box in the DT window. Previously, if R-O was set, sometimes nothing would be displayed when dropping a trophy.

Ok, I see what happened. I didn't put in a check for having a character entry from a prior version, but not having the kindred table initialized. It will be fixed in the next version and the work-a-round is to run the new DT on all you alts as it adds the table if its missing.

I got this error when I tried to "List Kindred Rep" leaving the drop down on "<Any Rep>".

It cleared up after I had finally logged in each of my alts.

Vinny, I set kindred rep for one character and I got this error message:

I don't know what it affected if anything but that's what popped up.

This version adds a number of tweaks that I've been making to Daily Tasks. Most of the changes affect reputation and make it easier to use.
- The first change will color the rep code red when the player has kindred rep with a faction and will thus not gain rep by completing the task. These tasks will be hidden when the R-O box is checked.
- To see what factions your alts are kindred with, there is now a List Kindred Rep button (and corresponding chat command).
- In the Rep selection menu, I've added a choice of <none>, which affects two buttons. When selected, List Rep Items will now list items with tasks that have no associated rep code and Find Top Rep Uses will lists items that can't provide rep gain because the associated faction rep is all kindred.
- A new Dup Shared Items button compares the trophies in the players bags to those in the shared storage (the window must be open) and lists items that are found in both so that they can be consolidated.
- The trophies Bony Tail and Delicate Tail are no longer used in tasks and are now flagged as junk.
- Finally, I decided to rename the Echad Garthadir task board to Annuminas to make it more recognizable and be consistent with the stable name.

I'm considering adding a command that would compare trophy items between alt inventories, i.e., see if current bag trophies are also held by any alts. However, this would require saving trophy lists for every character and would get out of date if the trophies held were changed and DT wasn't run before logging off, so I'm still undecided on implementing this.

I'm making a couple of tweaks to rep handling and I've found that Bony Tail and Delicate Tail trophies were removed from task boards. I'm going to do some more checking before releasing these changes.

Here it is, the same day as the Lotro update.

This version adds the 8 new tasks boards in Central Gondor. Fortunately, they are all the same so it didn't take long to add them. About half the tasks are the same as West Gondor, with just a change in rep. The others use what were previously junk trophies, so fewer items in Gondor are now vendor trash.

As the board task levels are the same as West Gondor, I thought that the minimum task level wound still be 90, but its something higher, so I'm letting it default to 96. If you find that its different, let me know.

PS. I discovered a bug that got by in my rush to get this out. The fixed version is 3.3.0

If you want to try and preserve your settings, you could try editing the file and fixing the invalid character or you could just delete it and let DT recreate it, but you'd need to visit all your alts and enter their settings.

The safest way would be to rename it and then when DT creates an new one, copy the entries from the old one into the new one. If the copied entries cause an error, you'd need to undo the change and copy a little at a time.

Note: If you are not using an English client, there is known problem with how Lotro/Lua formats numbers when they are saved and causes this kind of error when loading.

It looks like the problem is in your DailyTasks_Settings.plugindata file, which is found in the AllCharacters folder, which is a subfolder a couple of levels under the PluginData folder.

I'm getting something like what I have copied below upon logging in to some of my characters (it might be all of them with the plugin loading) and I have deleted and redownloaded the plugin with no success. Perhaps I'm missing a file on delete that I should be removing or replacing?

That was fixed way back in version 2.6.1, a couple of years ago. It should be removing the "~" to get the regular name.

Is there a reason for including ~names (session play) in the list of known player characters? I can't think of any and I'm constantly removing them.

If there is a reason can an option be added to not include them, please?
