The Elven Adventuress UI joins beauty with functionality, re-casting the LotRO interface in shades of metallic gold, plum, pink, and burgundy. Visual motifs are of shells, leaves, stars, and Elven geographical locations. EA Rohan incorporates larger-sized mail, auction, and other panels. Remember that you will need to restart the game to get them to display correctly. It's best to delete your current folder before extracting the download, although overwriting should be fine.

Helm's Deep

Due to the direction LotRO has taken with F2P, store buttons, and slot machine features, I have decided to not support this interface any more. I have also stopped blogging about LotRO. These mechanics do not belong in games, certainly not in an RPG based on the most venerable fantasy IP.

I simply cannot support these practices any further, and I regret investing so much into a product by this company. I will not make the mistake again. I am also withdrawing my permission for my interface to be used or updated in any way by other authors.

Rohan v3.3

I threw this together today in about six hours. It's possible something was missed. If you see something that isn't right, feel free to let me know.

Fixes:

• Changed player vitals frame so the crystals are no longer unattractively pink, but there is a small flower instead.
• Updated for sixth year vitals and mini-vitals frames, winter festival frames. These had issues due to my new version of Photoshop, and I do not own the Winter frame. Hopefully these look ok. D:
• Changed new blue button highlights to pinkish. The pink would not be defeated so easily.
• Updated mounted combat rename button.
• Updated other misc components to gold, including new basic frames, and new panel field to match color scheme.
• Deleted now-unused graphic elements.
• Made all teleport-to-quest buttons invisible. If you don't like this, you can still mouse over where the images should be and click them, but I do not want to see these on my interface. Thanks to Turbine for putting these at least in the assets pack. I have not found the large blue store buttons.
• Fixed the missing graphic when you rollover the mounted combat vitals
• Turned arrow buttons at bottom of wardrobe preview panel, and lower left and right corners of Legendary Item relic-master panels, to metallic gold.

To Do:

• The top "head" button in the dressing room has a glitch.
• Better preview pics.

Options:

There should be an optional no-frills yellow-green loading screen in the Optional Files that can replace the pink-burgundy "theater_top_bottom.tga" in the EA Isengard/isengard folder, if desired.

Galadriel has a dual personality both joyful and dreadful. The map frame will show two faces that reflect her mood (when faced with different levels of hope and dread.)

Thanks to JappMe (SoM Ivy by Halvitur) for the original learning template over which I intended to write all new files. Some non-descript vestiges of the basic original interface, such as tab treatments, may still exist in some form in the final or subsequent versions of this UI and should be credited.

WickedMouse deed log tabs were removed in this version of EA UI.

...............Installation Instructions:...............

Download the skin and extract the files to the correct path. Create folders if necessary. The final path for custom interface folders should be something like:

C:\Documents and Settings\ (username) \My Documents\The Lord of the Rings Online\ui\skins\EA Rohan

Remember that in order to see the re-sized mail, auction, and other panels, you may need to restart the game. It should be ok to overwrite the files of your existing installation. Sorry I haven't made this super-friendly. I'll make a mental note to improve in the future.

Refer to the help files at LotROInterface.com if you have issues. To activate the interface, log into game and go to the "Options" menu (press escape, click options). Open the "UI Settings" menu, scroll to "Misc", and pick the interface in the "Current User Skin" dropdown field.
