We currently have free text for only the item name itself as of 1.6.1-beta onward. I can add wildcard as well if that helps.

You bring up a good point though, the item sets are something I should probably add as a filter. If there aren't a large # of total sets, I can try to collect that data & build filters for them.

First, thanks for taking the time to make this superb plugin! In my opinion, it's even better then the main lotro lorebook itself.

I have one tiny request though: Is it possible to implement wildcard search, or free text search? That would make it very easy to search out items without knowing the exact spelling on the rather long names lotro uses for its items.

It will also help alot for searching gear sets, eg. Searching for "the lady's courage" will allow me to find "boots of the lady's courage", "gauntlets otLC", "breastplate otLC", etc. One could even do a search for "the lady's", and combine it with a "boots only" filter to find the all the class versions of a particular set piece.

Particular raids would have a huge benefit of seeing the various set items

There was a bug when I released last version that was preventing the rewards from showing. This shoudl be fixed in new version.

Ah right! I noticed though that (certain) cosmetics from the skirmish camp isn't in the list. I expect to see how much skirmish marks and extra marks I would need for it

Thanks. To link item to chat just right click on the row and use context menu that appears.

I just gave this plugin a try and it's a really nice piece of work. Only feature that may indeed would have been really handy to have in it, would be to be able to link items into chat to show others.

"[Linked item] OMG, look at those stats! And it looks sweet too!"

I released a new version of compendium this night and included the additional chat channels (1,2,3,&4) as part of it.

I figured that was the case with ctrl+click functionality, but before this plugin I hadn't seen the ability to link an item you didn't have at all, so I had my hopes up. On the second note, I've thought about editing the ItemAliasMenu just to remove the trade option and put in a userchannel1 where I keep our alliance channel so I could link things there and maybe create one for /r that way if someone wants something linked I have them send me a tell them i hit that and they see it.

edit: just edited that file to show a userchannel1 and reply options and it works great thanks for the plugin and all the hard work.
probably will go back and put in userchannels2-4 making linking to w/e possible.

The item can only be control linked if it is actually an item in bag. The api doesn't let us create item outside of backpack retrieval. I've tried several ways of attempting this w/o backpack and failed. That said, would you like any other channels added to the context menu? Perhaps I can make an configuration where u can edit the channel list messages etc..


On a side note, my progress on compendium has taken a side burner for the time being. I saw that the EU servers are both going to be managed via turbine, and was hoping to wait till that happened before further internationalization support.

love this plugin use it daily and kinmates love for me to link items.

question/suggestion: Is there a way to link an item other than the menu or add ctrl click functionality so you can link to tells/userchannels?

Just a small status update. Sorry there hasn't been a release. The compendium code is currently torn up as I try to make it easier for foreign language translations of the compendium interface. I have the majority of this done, with the exception of the filter menus that are on each screen. I am not attempting at this time to worry about translating quest, item, texts.. Just the UI components (Buttons, Tabs, Labels).

While I have been using Google translate just to "test" that what I'm doing works, I would appreciate if the player community could assist in the translating once I have this complete.

The window can currently be resized from clicking either bottom, right side, or bottom right corner and dragging. The text is trickier.. i could increase slightly, but too big I'd have to start increasing row size etc.. Its not out of the picture

Great work on this! I have found it very convenient and useful.

I have difficulty reading the text at 1920x1080. Are you planning resize options for the windows and text? I would make the text about 3 times larger if I could. =]
