On another note, the next version will feature linking fake items in LIP to the chat, and importing existing LIs into LIP. It's a massive pain to implement as in *massive* but I'm nearly done.

I see you've uploaded a patch for LIP with a newer German translation, I'll include it in the next version.

Turbine keeps altering the name of legacies in English which is pretty hard to keep track of, I might have to change a relatively large number of them. I will keep the translations in sync, and maybe resort to using literals instead of actual legacy names to make the process easier in the future.

Ah ok. it was my mistake. I updated the LIP Addon and then used my own de.lua to replace the original because there are some aditional checked entrys i doesn't uploaded yet. So i haven't the changed entrys inside and thinked theyre not mayded. Sorry. I will fix this fast

I now longer include template.lua with LIP as it's redundant with de.lua and ru.lua, those should be up to date though ?

I normally document every name alteration I do in changelog.txt, and alter the locale files accordingly, and I also quickly check all legacies do indeed translate before I release a new version, did I mess up somewhere ?

The Changes you make in last Version make the translation show false Entrys because i cant find the Changes in the Template

LIP 1.8 is here and it (finally) handles lvl 85 first age LIs !

1.8 also matches other changes Turbine made in U10 to existing LIs level 75-85 regarding DPS ratings etc (geez)

Russian and German translations should be up to date. Thanks PulseDiver and Amethadan

Changes log:
- Updated: Ratings for level 85 first ages
- Updated: Ratings for level 75-85 LIs that were changed in U10
- Fixed: "'Benevolence' Healing Rating (Heavy Steed)" adjusts with level & age
- Updated: 'Wrath' Critical Chance (Light Steed) bonus now between 1% and 5% in five ranks (U10? change)
- Fixed: Setting the 'level to use' of a briddle to lower levels would cause a lua error. Min level set to 71.
- (CHP) "Increased Rend Armour Reduction" renamed "Rend Armour Reduction"
- (CPT) "Tactics: Focus in-Combat Power Regen Buff" renamed "Tactics: Focus' ICPR"
- Fixed: Conflict with other older plugins of the author causing a lua error at start (thanks bobbisson @ lotro.russia.com)

PS: While I won't be adding new features any time soon, features mentioned last year I might implement eventually.

Little chance atm for new features, I still haven't had time to update the DPS values, I don't even have time to play the game lately, and I can't seem to be able to log on Bullroarer with the new launcher :/

I'd like to use this to keep a copy of good LIs handy so I can use it as a quick reference sheet when answering questions from various pug players.

I should be uploading a new version for Update 10 within a few days, hopefully there will be no changes from Bullroarer concerning legacies.

Update: Turns out there were changes since I was last on Bullroarer, so I now need data for all types of first age LIs ... namely:
- 1 hand melee weapons (DPS)
- 2 handed weapons (melee, bow/crossbow or javelin) (DPS)
- Tactical /weapons or guardian belt (tactical damage rating or shield use)
- Healing items (tactical healing rating)

In each case, I need values for each rank, with (3) and without crystals.

Priority for me right now is going to update LIP for level 85 first age weapons, which I hope I'll be able to do through the beta server, I may or may not implement other stuff depending how much time I manage to set aside.

Thanks for the comments folks, and sorry for replying sporadically, I'm a bit busy with work, life etc.

About requested features

- Legacy scrolls scan (artificeren/Mohanadan) I won't implement vault/bag scanning for legacy scrolls, that would have too many limitations. It's not possible to scan vaults at all times, there are bugs on Turbine's side that I'd rather stay away from (may involve client crashes), and it's not possible to know what legacies are on an actual legendary item. That's a whole can of worms best left unopened.

- DPS number on weapons for tactical classes (bunny). I'll add that. To find out on the current version of LIP, the melee DPS rating on tactical weapons is equivalent to rank 4 of a regular weapon (1h for minstrels, 2h for rune-keepers and lore-masters).

- Fake item links in chat (bunny): good idea, I'll look into it for the next version. Likely to be implemented.

Mohanadan:
- Starlit crystals do not make legacies cheaper or increase the number of points that can be used, they only increase the rating of some legacies (and the main DPS/Tactical Damage/Healing/Shield Use/Inc. Healing ratings).

Thanks so much for making this plugin. It has been very helpful to me. I do have a question though. I thought that starlit crystals were supposed to make the LI points cost lower as well as increase the ratings of legacies. When I add crystals in LIP the ratings are changing but my points spent/available is not changing. Is there any way to change that?

I also liked the suggestion of tracking what legacy scrolls you have in your inventory/vault so that you will know which one to take when you decon. I don't know how easy that would be to do.
