Yep, that's exactly what my file looked like. I've uploaded it, so it should be available soon. Thanks for LPC, very handy!

Its been added to the list and you should be able to see it in LPC now, but will not "install" via LPC till it has finished being approved. Please let me know if it ends up having any problems.
Thanks

Hi - I'd like for LPC to include my VirtueView plugin.
I have created the VirtueView.plugincompendium file. Should I upload a version with that file? What's the next step?
I was hoping to test it locally, but it says "(Unmanaged)". I think I have the Name and ID correct.

Since your plugin relies on turbines library you will need to upload a version of your plugin that contains the plugincompendium file. Your file will look like.
Code:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<PluginConfig xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema">
<Id>720</Id>
<Name>VirtueView</Name>
<Version>1.6</Version>
<Author>Mosby</Author>
<InfoUrl>http://www.lotrointerface.com/downloads/info720</InfoUrl>
<DownloadUrl>http://www.lotrointerface.com/downloads/download720</DownloadUrl>
<Descriptors>
<descriptor>Palantiri\VirtueView.plugin</descriptor>
</Descriptors>
<Dependencies>
<dependency>0</dependency>
</Dependencies>
</PluginConfig>

Re: Plugin Feed URL issues for LOTRO Plugin Compendium
It's working again, thanks!
It looks like the directory structure changed on lotrointerface, I'm getting a 404 error on the /fav/ directory.
(Plugin Feed URL is http://api.lotrointerface.com/fav/plugincompendium.xml)
edit: I just sent Cairenn a PM about it, since it appears to be a site issue.

404 error on opening LPC
Anyone else getting a 404 error when they open LPC?
Same here - hasn't been updated in a long time but has always worked. First noticed an issue today.

Hi
Quote:
- First try running as administrator. (right click run as...) If it does not find the plugin folder it tries to create one. It might not be able to get past that part.
- Look for a file in a location like the following. Shut down LPC, make a backup of that file, and then delete the copy in that directory. C:\Users\<Your User>\AppData\Local\PluginCompendium\PluginCompend ium.exe_Url_<bunch of characters>\1.0.3.0\user.config
|
The first two points dosen't work.
Quote:
- Try the Java version of LPC. Its not as nice as it has no installer, but will do the job of updating your plugins.
|
The java version is running well and the updates also.
If there any possibilities then please rebuild the Windows version on Wndows 8.1 with all updates from Microsoft again, and post a new version.
Thanks for your support.
Cheers HH

It is working for me in Window 8.1 x64. I am sorry you were having trouble getting it working. Thank you for taking the time to report the issue.
Things for you to try.
