The plugin lists Soft Skin (31-41) in Tinnudir and with my level 39 character I can't turn them in anymore.
Hm, I checked with my lvl 37 and there are still 2 tasks for soft skin... I'll keep an eye on it as I level.

Unfortunately, Turbine doesn't document little changes like this in their update notices.

First of all, thank you for a massively useful plugin.

Now to the point: the Sharp claws task in Meluinen needs 6 Sharp claws, not 15 as the plugin indicates.

Also, in cases where an item can be turned in at several locations and in different amounts, the number of tasks that can be completed does not take into account the lowest amount requirement.
Specifically: the Sticky filth task at Tinnudir requires 8 of them, but if I have 17 and do /dtc, I get "17/15", "1 task can be completed".

One more thing. I think I've noticed that if there are several stacks of the same item, the plugin calculates the number of tasks that can be completed for each stack separately, instead of adding the amounts of all stacks and working with that. For example, if I have 2 stacks of something, one 50 and another 10, and the amount requirement for that item is 15, /dtc would give me "3 tasks can be completed" instead of 4.
BTW the problem isn't because of the inventory refresh bug, DT can see all the stacks, it just processes them separately.

First of all. Thank you for this amazing little plugin. I just can't say how much it have helped me.

But I registered here since I found a little change that have been made. The plugin lists Soft Skin (31-41) in Tinnudir and with my level 39 character I can't turn them in anymore. I could do it some weeks ago before my vacation but not anymore. It seems like Turbine perhaps have removed the double entry for soft skin that was there before. Can't really check since I have no character eligible for that. As far as I remember there were also some other task that was doubled and if they changed soft skin, they probably changed that one too.
Thanks again for everything.

Unhappy Re: Sometimes items don't show up

After updating to the latest version it appeared that the problem I saw in my previous append was fixed. I've since noticed that it seems to happen after playing awhile. For example, Albino Skins wasn't showing up as a valid turn-in. After reloading the plugins, it was back to showing for me.
There is a known inventory bug with LOTRO's Lua that causes plugins to not see some changes. Reloading refreshes the inventory. Hopefully Turbine will fix this with the next expansion.

Sometimes items don't show up

After updating to the latest version it appeared that the problem I saw in my previous append was fixed. I've since noticed that it seems to happen after playing awhile. For example, Albino Skins wasn't showing up as a valid turn-in. After reloading the plugins, it was back to showing for me.

Additional Iinfo:
I use a plugin manager to load my plugins, loading Travel, and MountCarouselME in addition to Daily Tasks for this specific character.

Just wanted to let you know.

Thanks,
Don

Turn-in availability correction

EDIT: I just installed the latest version and it's working fine. Not sure what happened, but all is well now.

Wanted to say thank you for this addon. Very useful for those of us that do the tasks.

I noticed that one of the turn-in's was incorrect for an item.

My hunter is 52 in Eregion. I just turned in Albino Skin at Echad Mirobel but when I do /dt, or /dtc, etc. Albino Skins don't come up as being available.

Thanks. Just wanted to let you know.

Don

BTW, I am running the version that was available as of 6/9 when I downloaded it. I will update to the 6/14 update and verify it's the same.

Does DailyTasks show up when you do "/plugins list"? If not, the DailyTasks.plugin file isn't in the MyPlugins folder.

Yep. I still get the error message, but everything else works. I love this! I'm leveling 4 alts and this saves me a TON of time. Thank you!!!

I've read the readme file and believe that I've followed the instructions completely. I would love to have this interface, but can't get to to work. I do understand that the most common reason for this error is that it isn't located in the right folder. I Extracted all files to:

C:\Documents and Settings\Tom\My Documents\The Lord of the Rings Online\Plugins\MyPlugins

I still keep getting the message: Unable to load "dailytasks" upon entering the command "/plugins load dailytasks" in the chat window. Many Thanks!

thanks for this very useful plugin. i really like the R-O (rep only) option.

i hope you could modify to plugin to make it 'remember' the checked state of the R-O option. currently it is unchecked each time the plugin is loaded.

Exclamation Version 2.3

I fixed the entry for "Broken Wood Spear" and added a new Common folder to replace the need for the Turbine library. This should make the install process easier for new users.

In particular, the file ../Plugins/Turbine/Class.lua needs to exist. To make sure it isn't corrupted, try re-installing it from the link in the DT readme file.
I have the Class.lua but its under Plugins/Turbine/Utils

I will copy it to the prior dir and see if it works.
