I doubt the cooldown bar will work for anything other than the US client. Because Item:GetCategory() is broken there wasn't a way to pick out pots except by name. All the names are hard coded to US versions. Someone contacted me about localizing the plugin for German which would fix this problem but I haven't heard from them in a while so I'm not sure what the status is on that.

Was thinking of something else that would be helpful.

In the Ignore List, would it be possible to put the type of effect that an item you have listed is in. (Perhaps list it in parenthesis).

e.g. Ignored Effect (Effect Type)

Then they can be sorted in our Ignore List by Effect Type. Or perhaps they can be listed in groups initially.

Also, not sure if this would be possible but if the Ignore List could also include the effect's icon that'd also be helpful.

One thing, i'm asking for, is it possible to show cooldowns for some attacks?

I'm playing a hunter and i use an attack heart seeker. Cool down 5 minutes.

It would be nice to see these cooldowns in your bar.

This still isn't working 100% for DE-Clients.

In particular I've some issues when using the "Ignore-Feature" with Buffs that contain umlauts (ä,ü,ö).
Everything seems to be fine until I edit the "Ignore-List" in options pane, i.e. removing some list entries there. After that these special characters getting corrupted and ignore-feature of related buffs is broken.

And that's not all:
Do this multiple times and some Strings become longer and longer with every save-action until you get stack overflow error when trying to reopen option pane again.

But still a very good plugin. I hope these bugs will be fixed.

Hi Pengoros,

I have a couple of other ideas that would be nice to see if they are possible.

1. An 'Apply' button. So that we can apply changes that we've made without closing out the options window. This would be helpful in seeing how changes we've made affect the buffbars and allow us to play around with the options to see what works best.
   
2. There are some buffs that are proximity based (e.g. captains banners). I wonder if it's possible to create a new category for these. I would like to create a separate Buff Bar that only show Buffs that are in effect when I am in range of them. Often these show up as buffs with no time (like stances do). This could also be useful for Debuffs that are only in effect when in range.

So those would be nice to see, but might require the API to support such features.

I am a hunter and would like to have another quickslot bar that shows my oils, chants and some food when they are ready to expire.
I can not make another bar that works. All I get is a teeny, tiny bar in the upper left corner of my screen. Cant resize it or do anything with it.

Am I doing something wrong?

Also a new quickslot bar shows the same pots in the options panel

I'm having a problem atm which is that with BBs loaded I am getting a lot of Mouse-Zoom hangs, where the mouse wheel stops zooming in and out.

If I play w/o BBs loaded this doesn't happen, but when I do it seems to happen after every few fights. Any help would be appreciated

What version of the plugin gets printed to the chat window when the plugin loads? The line number looks to correspond to an earlier version of BuffBars.

Can you PM me the section of your BuffBarsSettings.plugindata file that contains the strings that initially work and then the ones that don't work after updating it via the options page?

That's a good idea, I'll look into adding it.

That kind of thing would need API support. You can create a bar that does this though by just ignoring all the buffs/debuffs except the proximity ones you want to see though.
